FDC has commenced work on the Holiday Inn St Marys Leagues project.

The Holiday Inn St Marys Leagues will be a new-build 6 storey hotel with 123 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, built to the exacting brand standards that guests trust and expect.

Located adjacent to the existing Club, the hotel will be linked to the Club by a covered walkway and landscaping, with guests being welcomed in the feature porte cochere and reception area. The new lobby will provide a stylish and comfortable waiting and meeting spot, a gymnasium will be provided for guest use, and meeting rooms on the first floor will increase the business meeting capacity of the Club.

Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) has had FDC collaborating with the Club to meet their budget, while achieving the required brand standards, intended functionality, and desired level of finish. This early involvement process is adding considerable value to the Club’s final product, and had risk mitigation strategies commencing far earlier than a standard build, where they can have their greatest effect.

The completion of the hotel will realise a long awaited goal of the St Marys Rugby League Club, to provide a high standard of on-site accommodation for members and their guests, the many and varied visiting sports teams to the St Marys sporting complex, the local community, and visitors to this rapidly growing district. The mixture of bedding configurations and interconnecting rooms will allow significant flexibility in catering to the needs of these varied guest groups.

FDC’s Director Blake Cottle and project delivery team met with St Marys Rugby League Club Management last week to celebrate the commencement of this significant project. FDC are excited to be able to work with the Club in developing this much-needed amenity, and are targeting a twelve month project duration.
