Specialist Disability Accommodation

Aimed to provide assisted living solutions in a modern, well-designed space, the project offers people with a disability the opportunity to live a comfortable and healthy lifestyle.

The new build consists of a two-storey structure including roofing, cladding and internal fitout works, as well as a carpark and external landscaping.

It embraces features such as an integrated nurse call system, lift access, an automated entry system to all gates and entries, and provisions for patient lifter systems to each bedroom. No-step thresholds are present at all doorways to ensure access for all tenants.

Each apartment consists of two bedrooms, a shared ensuite, kitchen, living and dining areas, and an undercover alfresco area. The outdoor common area is fitted with TV and BBQ facilities to encourage interaction between tenants.

Through strong collaboration and ongoing engagement, the project team built a strong relationship with all stakeholders, resulting in an innovative housing solution that will improve the quality of life for its residents for years to come.
