Level 3, CBCRC Building, 300 Herston Road, Herston, QLD
FDC (QLD) have completed Q-Pharm’s relocation and fitout project, Level 3, CBCRC Building, 300 Herston Road, Herston.
Q-Pharm specialises in the conduct of early phase (Phases 1 and 2) clinical trials, bioequivalence, bioavailability and vaccine studies.
Expanding QPharm’s total bed capacity to 62, the open-plan 45-bed ward specialises in early phase clinical trials and vaccine studies while the flexible design of the facility allows it to be used for other early phase studies requiring intense monitoring of trial participants.
Some unique features of the project include cardiac monitoring equipment, synchronised digital clocks, processing laboratory, examination rooms and laundry facilities. Additional project design features include a wall to wall full height forest-like graphic designed to bring the outside in, timber-look bedheads and warm colour tones throughout to provide a comfortable homely atmosphere for participants on extended stays.
FDC successfully delivered this project in conjunction with MODE Design & Medland Engineering.
