Optus, Cannon Hill

FDC were selected to undertake a new 2,600sqm fitout on behalf of Optus, who are one of Australia’s leading communications companies.

The new dual floor office facility, located in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, comprised a mix of open plan offices including an impressive, first floor breakout area and several video conferencing rooms with advanced audio visual facilities. These areas were complemented by the latest acoustically treated meeting rooms and quiet reading rooms. This whole facility is supported by a large scale data and communications hub fully protected with gas suppression units.

The introduction of large format corporate graphics to walls and glazing, along with contrasting wall paneling created a vibrant, high performance working environment.

A collaborative approach was taken by the project team, comprising Optus, DTZ (project management), Hassell (interior design), Cardno ITC (engineering) and FDC, to deliver a successful outcome.
