Multi Channel Network (MCN)

Owned by Foxtel and Fox Sports, Multi Channel Network is Australia’s most progressive media advertising company offering clients a range of effective communication solutions to not only reach but create a dialogue with consumers.

MCN is responsible for the advertising interests of 69 television channel brands, 138 websites, 69 m-sites/optimised mobile sites, 59 apps, 4 IPTV services and 3 Digital-Out-Home locations.

After undertaking a successful refurbishment of the level 7 tenancy for MCN in 2013, FDC were engaged by MCN on a single select basis to undertake the new fitout works on levels 8 & 9 of the same building.

The fitout of the 1,250sqm tenancy and 422sqm balcony were undertaken as a design and construct – Gross Maximum Price project.

This allowed MCN and FDC the flexibility to alter finishes and design elements throughout the project to ensure that the client budget was met.

The new tenancy includes large reception and waiting areas, 20 person boardroom, meeting rooms and offices, open workstation, collaboration & utilities areas and a large breakout area with spectacular views over the Yarra and Flinders Street station.

Sky news have taken level 9 and areas on level 8 from where they conduct live news crosses throughout the day.

FDC enjoyed working with V-Arc and Aston Consulting to deliver the project on time and within budget.
