Hermès, Melbourne

FDC has completed the fitout of Hermès’ Melbourne store.

Hermès is a globally recognised luxury house, founded in France in 1837 specializing in leather, lifestyle accessories, home furnishings, perfumery, jewellery, watches and ready-to-wear.

The 400sqm store is located in the historic ‘Harley House’ at 71 Collins Street, Melbourne in the heart of the prestigious ‘Paris End’ of the street.

The fitout within the impressive and historically rich six-storey building included installation of a custom internal concrete staircase, installation of high-end joinery manufactures overseas, high level security, feature lighting, reinforced façade glazing, premium quality broadloom carpet and a leather handrail installed by two leather handrail specialists flown in from overseas.

The 18 week project was delivered in conjunction with Interni, Medland and France based RDAI Architects.

This store is third project that FDC have delivered for Hermès.
