73 caravan sites, along with state-of-the-art camping ground facilities, are now open in the Nation’s Capital following the successful completion of Stage 2 of the Canberra Park Caravan Park.
The 16,500 sqm site features purpose-built amenities, including an extensive communal camp kitchen. The focus of the latest stage of the development has been to provide easily accessible, convenient and spacious caravan sites, along with modern facilities to enhance guests’ stays at Canberra Park.
“From the outset of the project there was extensive consultation with the client and park management to ensure that the design provided maximum functionality and comfort for guests and operating staff,” FDC Project Manager Christian Mee said.
The FDC ACT team worked across the civil, construction and fitout components of this project.
“We were involved in the construction process from start to finish. The team is really proud of the functional and modern facility we have delivered,” Christian said.
Stage 2 of the recently completed development took six months to deliver. Stage 1 of the project, which consisted of student accommodation, was delivered in 2017.
