FDC Fitout & Refurbishment recently completed the impressive redevelopment of 5 Blue Street, North Sydney, which entailed a full-scale repositioning of the building, updating the aesthetic, layout, and functionality of the site to provide an innovative space befitting the emergent, updated image of the North Sydney area.
The repositioning development addressed a myriad of areas throughout the site, providing striking and practical new amenities for both the building’s tenants, and the general public of North Sydney.
This is epitomised by the new external forecourt, which was constructed and positioned to offer expansive views towards the Harbour Bridge and provides a tranquil area for public recreation. Within the space is a new retail precinct, lobby and arrival area, and end of trip and bike storage facilities, all of which are designed to flow together and give greater accessibility throughout.
The 8,000sqm of refurbished office space was also installed with new services to successfully lift the building to a 4.5 star NABERS rating.
