Westpac East Chatswood Business Continuity Centre

FDC have completed the fitout of the Westpac East Chatswood Business Continuity Centre (Westpac ECBCC) at 26 Smith Street, East Chatswood, NSW.

Westpac is one of Australia’s largest bank networks with over 13 million consumers across their 5 key divisions – Consumer Bank, Business Bank, BT Financial Group Australia, Westpac Institutional Bank and Westpac New Zealand.

The Westpac ECBCC project involved the adaptive repurposing of the existing building which operated as a data centre for the past 25 years, into a business continuity centre.

The project was completed in conjunction with FDC Mechanical Services, Artazan Property Group, RFA Architects and Hurley Palmer Flatt and included the installation of meeting rooms, communications rooms, workstations, lockers and breakout spaces across multiple levels.

Major service upgrades were also conducted, including the recommissioning of backup diesel generators and uninterruptible power supplies.
