FDC have recently completed a fitout project for the University of Wollongong’s new South Western Sydney Campus, 33 Moore Street, Liverpool (NSW).

The University of Wollongong (UOW) is an Australian public research university.

From the start of the 2017 academic year, the interim South Western Sydney Campus will offer programs reflecting Liverpool residents’ preferences, spanning disciplines from the University’s Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences and Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health as well as UOW College university entry and vocational training programs.

The University plans to grow the campus from modest beginnings to more than 7,000 students by 2030.

The 2,000sqm project involved the demolition of the existing police station (ground floor and level 1) and the demolition of existing internal partitions, doors, floor finishes, furniture, fixtures and fittings.

Additional works included the installation of internal plasterboard, glazed partitions, set ceilings & tiles, floor finishes, tiling, joinery and internal and external signage.

The project was delivered in 12 weeks in conjunction with ADM Architects and FDC’s Technologies and Mechanical Services divisions who undertook the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & dry fire services.
