Project Description

FDC undertook a four floor fitout at the University of Western Sydney’s campus at 100 George Street, Parramatta.

The University of Western Sydney, also known as UWS, is a multi-campus university and a provider of undergraduate, postgraduate and higher research degrees.

The 9 week project involved the fitout of classrooms and offices on Levels 4, 5 and 6, including kitchenettes, booth seating with tables, video conference rooms, meeting & boardrooms, offices and workstations.

Work was also undertaken on the ground floor of the building and consisted of open plan social space with an outdoor terrace, extensive banquette seating, large LED screens, feature slat ceilings, new bathrooms for staff and students as well as a kitchenette. The reception is the main feature on the ground floor.

The project was executed over 3,000sqm; 600sqm of ground floor space and 800sqm on each of levels 4, 5 and 6.

FDC worked with architecture firm BVN Donovan Hill  and engineering consultants Norman Disney & Young to deliver the project within budget and on time despite the tight time frame.
