Project Description

FDC were engaged to fit out a three level building with new office space. The client’s key requirements were to have a space which could accommodate their growing business and comfortably house an extra 350 workers; and also to maintain themes, colours and overall branding guidelines of the other offices in the surrounding area.

The ground floor contained predominately workstation / hot desk areas, 6 new meeting rooms with a telepresence room for conference meetings; new main reception area in the lift lobby; lab room and server room and breakout area with new feature screens, seating arrangements, joinery and appliances.

The two upper levels accommodate large workstation / hot desk areas, meeting rooms with feature graphics, ceilings and wall paneling, server room, and new breakout areas, one with a feature timber veneer ceiling.

A particular challenge was to crane lift and fix a new steel platform onto the roof to house the new mechanical condensers. Generally this project was highly detailed and fully specified including joinery walls, ceiling panelling and feature screens throughout the three levels.
