Project Description

The NSW Department of Community Services (DoCS) promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people and worksto build stronger families and communities. They provide child protection services, parenting support and early intervention, fostercare, adoption services and help for communities affected by disaster.

FDC’s fitout of the DoCS office in Redfern included open plan workstations for hotdesking and communal team work. Meeting rooms were also part of the brief for low risk interviews with families. Three large breakout areas were also designed to encourage staff and client interaction, and to hold informal meetings.

Special finishes included echo panelling on the walls and graphic film applied to glazing panels.
