Project Description

DFK Laurence Varnay is a chartered accountancy firm providing high quality accounting, auditing and taxation services, based in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

The 6 week project at 222 Pitt Street comprised the installation of perimeter offices and meeting rooms with an open plan workstation area; a large reception, kitchen with breakout area and a utilities area within a 500sqm floor. Using a D&C arrangement, FDC was able to provide a modern and vibrant new working environment.

The large reception and waiting area features timber and stone elements and a glimpse of graphic film featuring a nature theme that carries throughout the fitout. The generous sized boardrooms offer audio visual services and high quality joinery. Large graphic film was applied to create a major feature wall as a stand out design element of this fitout.

The back of house area consists of an open plan workstation layout with some perimeter offices and meeting rooms. The kitchen has been positioned to maximize the benefit of the available natural light; and the bright colour scheme used for the finishes to the kitchen and breakout area with banquette seating, makes for an inviting space.

FDC Technologies and FDC Mechanical Services were also involved with the delivery of this project.
