The Carrick Institute for learning and higher education is recognised for its high principles in education.

When relocating, Carrick chose FDC Technologies to provide the electrical & communications infrastructure over 4 levels and 4,000sqm. Broad in scope and complexity it consisted of a variety of lecture and teaching rooms encompassing technology, to cooking and bar skills.

An electrical supply shortage to the building forced a review of power consumption with a new economical VRF load shedding system installed as a built in contingency.

FDC Technologies chose a Krone Category 6 structured cabling solution for the communications fitout. This provided Carrick with a flexible communications infrastructure that also allowed them to cope with bandwidth intensive applications being utilized by the student population.
