With a long and proud history in the area, Campbell Arnott’s chose to redevelop adjacent (former) manufacturing facilities in bustling Homebush to accommodate their new corporate headquarters.
The century old building referred to as “The Bakehouse” was already undergoing substantial external extension and upgrading when FDC were appointed, so the task to integrate the interior refurbishment and fitout within the available timeframe was extremely challenging.
Despite heritage considerations and base building complications, FDC successfully delivered approximately 6,000sqm of intricate fitout with many novel design details and feature elements. New stairways, upgraded services, acoustic treatment, breakout spaces, extensive graphics and structurally independent enclosed spaces were just some of the building features. FDC completed the project to client satisfaction and was awarded an additional stage of work in an adjacent facility.
