Josephine has worked within the commercial construction industry for over 10 years, primarily in the workplace health and safety and environmental management arena.
Josephine started her career as a nurse working within large commercial construction projects, looking after workplace injuries. This then developed into a preventative role working at creating safer workplaces rather than just injury management.
She has been heavily involved in IMS development, implementation, training and accreditation and has experience in achieving accreditations from entities such as SAI Global, NSW Government and the Federal Safety Commissioner.
Josephine also has experience working with industry bodies such as the Master Builders Association on steering committees for WHS legislation and was awarded the NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) 2009 Future Leaders scholarship, for her contributions to WHS in the construction industry.
