Social Responsibility

FDC may have grown over the years, but we’ve never forgotten what matters most to us. Our people. Since our Giving Program launched, FDC has raised over $10 million dollars for a range of charitable causes, from disease research to university scholarships. In recent times, FDC’s Ride to Give has raised $534,000 for our two remarkable charity partners, Backtrack Youth Works and The Tie Dye Project as well as supporting a number of local schools and community groups across regional NSW.

Sean Gibbeson

General Manager (Director), Construction, NSW

Sean joined FDC in 2008, assuming the role of General Manager of the NSW Construction division. Sean has more than 30 years experience in construction across a broad range of industry sectors. With solid people management skills, Sean demonstrates leadership in service, safety and quality that he expects of his wider team. The integrated management system within FDC offers a proven platform for Sean and his team to start, drive and finish a project with confidence, although every projects individual challenges are assessed and managed with due diligence.

Matt Hawkins

Business Operations Director, Construction, NSW

Matt has been a member of the FDC team since 2000 and began at FDC in our Fitout division as a Contracts Administrator, later progressing to a Project Manager. He joined the Construction division in 2010 where he has since worked as a Construction Manager involved in several of FDC’s largest projects. Matt is a fantastic communicator, develops great rapport with both his clients and his subcontractors and understands all facets of construction and fitout.

Ben Dircks

Operations Manager, Fitout and Refurbishment, NSW

Ben has over twenty years’ experience in the construction industry having amassed significant experience whilst working for notable Sydney and UK-based fitout and refurbishment companies to deliver significantly challenging projects across a range of construction sectors. Now as the Operations Manager of FDC Fitout, Ben is a key part of the senior management team. Ben ensures the quality of the processes and delivery team provide the client total satisfaction and does so with a collaborative effort, directing and energising the client, consultants, suppliers and site staff.

Paul Nielsen

General Manager (Director), Mechanical, NSW

Paul is Director for FDC Mechanical Services. Paul joined FDC in 2005 as a Project Manager responsible for the delivery of a variety of projects. He then moved to head up installations for FDC Mechanical Services, before leading the overall division in 2013. In 2016, Paul then took over leadership of FDC Technologies. This allowed a greater collaboration between the two engineering divisions within the Group in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace and ensuring better quality packages to FDC clients. His team is responsible for the services delivery of a vast range of projects from fitout, construction, refurbishment and data centres.
