This year FDC stepped up to be the principal sponsor for the annual PCA Corporate Golf Day. Held at the beautiful Killara Golf Club on March 7th, the event was very well attended with morning and afternoon competitions both enjoying glorious sunshine rather than the scattered showers that had been forecast earlier in the week.
There were a range of activities at each of the 18 holes with FDC offering prizes for the Fun Design Challenge – contestants having to design new digs for Julia Gillard at Rooty Hill; Longest Drive and the big one… the chance to win $20,000 for sinking a hole in one! Although a player did get within 2 metres of the hole, no one was able to claim this prize on the day.
Our congratulations go to the Judd Farris team who were the overall winners of the day and also the following winners of the FDC sponsored holes:
Hole 1: Longest Drive
Winner: Michael Robinson (Sweett Group)
1st Runner-up: Stephen Carroll (CBA)
2nd Runner-up: Brian Healy (Enstruct)
Hole 7: Fun Design Challenge
Winner: Northrop Engineers Team
1st Runner-up: Trevor Hamilton (Nettletontribe)
2nd Runner-up: Lisa Schultz (Ceilector Ceiling Solutions)
Hole 17: $20,000 Hole-in-one

1st Runner- up: Kah Wong (Commonwealth Bank Australia)
2nd Runner-up: Adam Shapley (Hays)
3rd Runner-up: David McMicking (Kings Security)
Thank you to everyone who was involved, both organisers and players, for contributing to what was an awesome day.
