FDC’s Team Taouk participated in the Walk to Save Our Sons over the past 6 days, a 160km walk across Sydney, stopping at all Sydney-based NRL clubs to raise funds for the Save Our Sons Duchenne Foundation.
The final day started at Jubilee Oval in Kogarah this morning with a send-off from the St George Illawarra Dragons coach and players, continuing on to Southern Cross Group Stadium and finishing at Cronulla Beach with a dip in the surf.
Actor / singer and former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has been undertaking chemotherapy in the mornings and walking each day with the group. A host of other celebrities including radio and TV personalities as well as sports stars have supported the cause by joining walk.
