At FDC, we love working on projects that can change the path for future generations. That push the boundaries and look at new ways of working. We’re so fortunate to have clients that give us the opportunity to do that every day. And to have that work recognised by the industry’s most prestigious awards is an absolute honour.
We’re incredibly humbled that FDC won nine awards at the 2021 Master Builders Association of NSW Excellence in Construction Awards in February 2022. As specialists in Construction and Fitout and Refurbishment, we are so grateful to be recognised for our work in both areas.
Our work at Macquarie University’s Central Courtyard Precinct won the Tertiary Buildings $200m and over and Best Use of Timber categories. While our redevelopment of Ashfield Aquatic Centre took out the best Sporting Facility between $10m and $60m title. The unique design and build of the Chau Chak Wing Museum at the University of Sydney was awarded the best Public Buildings between $10m and $60m and Best Use of Concrete accolades. And our highly complex industrial project for Arnott’s Darug won best Industrial Buildings in the $20m and over category.
Our interior fitout projects for Nest – 1 Denison and Tech Office also won their categories, while our work at the Flagship Retail Fitout in Sydney was awarded the best Restoration/Adaptive Re-Use of an Historic Building in the $10m-$50m category.
These wins recognise the incredible team effort that goes into each and every project. We want to congratulate and thank our project delivery teams, consultants, suppliers, sub-contractors and staff for such an amazing achievement.
