A team from FDC’s QLD office participated in the inaugural Stafford City ‘The Brook Run’ yesterday.

The team, comprising Marty Nguyen, Adam Tutt, Adam Worthy and Dallas Harmer, all performed extremely well on the 7kms course through Brisbane’s Kedron Brook. With a starting field of over 800 runners Marty narrowly led the FDC team home with a respectable 30.28min effort. It was celebrations all round with the announcement that Team FDC had collected first place in the team section. The celebrations quickly turned to speculation as it was realised that Marty had also run 4th in his registed section “The Womens”. Questions are still being asked if this was an honest typo on the registration sheet, or had they undertaken post race testing?

The event was held to raise funds for the AEIOU Foundation – a not for profit organisation working with children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years old who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Thank you to those staff who brought their families along to support the team and enjoy the sunshine, and “Great effort!” to all the runners.
