FDC (QLD) and subcontractors are currently delivering a pro bono project; a much-needed shed extension for the Smart Pups office, 37 Mountain View Road, Pinbarren.

Smart Pups is a charity that specialises in providing trained service dogs to assist children with special needs. Smart Pups’ vision is to improve the quality of life for children experiencing autism and seizure-related illnesses by training dogs in task-specific skills. The service dogs help reduce stress in affected children and have a profound effect on the day-to-day lives of the child and their family. These positive changes continue as the bond and relationship between a child and Smart Pup grows over time.

FDC’s project for Smart Pups includes a dog training shed extension, new office area and breakout and lunch room.

FDC are delivering this pro bono project in conjunction with CAB ROTO Architects, Northrop, MRP and McKenzie Group.
