With just over 2 weeks until FDC and industry friends host our 12th Melbourne Cup fundraising event, we are delighted to advise that the event is again a sell-out.

We are looking forward to seeing our 500+ guests on Tuesday 1st November at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney when attendees will be treated to a day of delicious food, drink and merriment, all while raising much needed funds to allow The Kids’ Cancer Project and its collaborative partners to continue their valuable research towards finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Our goal for 2016 is to raise enough funds to allow The Kids’ Cancer Project to commence the introduction of their ‘Re-engage’ program nationally. Incredibly, 98% of childhood cancer survivors will develop a chronic illness as a result of intense cancer treatments administered to their developing organs. Given such a high risk of developing subsequent conditions, long term follow-up care for childhood cancer survivors is critical which is where this program will be so vital for these children. The Re-engage program will assist children requiring this treatment to do so whilst still engaging in their school, sport and local communities.

There will be a host of live and silent auction items up for grabs on the day as well as the usual excitement of the horse auction and spot giveaways for Best Dresses Ladies and Best Dressed Gentlemen ensuring lots of action for all guests.
