FDC has completed numerous fitout and refurbishment projects at Westmead Hospital, in NSW. The third milestone was the new gastroenterology ward, which was part of the Westmead Redevelopment – a NSW Government project valued at over $1 billion.

The project included completely demolishing the existing ward and constructing a new inpatient unit for gastroenterology and hepatology. It also houses an isolation room (a negative pressure room for immunocompromised and infectious patients).

FDC delivered this refurbishment in conjunction with Team 2 Architects, Health Infrastructure, PwC and Northrop.
