FDC continues to establish itself as a nationwide company delivering the highest quality building projects in all major cities around Australia. Since the opening of a South Australian office in 2015, the Adelaide-based branch of the business has made a solid impact in the local construction scene and contributed to many major projects.

Adelaide has undergone a vibrant transformation over the last decade and FDC is playing a pivotal role in shaping the cityscape with a range of high-end construction, fitout and refurbishment projects under our belt.

South Australian-born State Manager Nick Du Bois heads up a team of passionate local professionals who are dedicated to delivering first-class service to Adelaide clients. “Our team lives and breathes Adelaide and are all recruited locally,” he said. “We have grown from a staff of two to 18 over the past three years and we are currently putting on more staff to help cope with the workload.”

Mr Du Bois has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, including 8 years spent in Melbourne, where he earned his Masters. His expertise is in commercial fitout & refurbishment with vast experience working with staged and multi-floor projects.

Our Adelaide office was initially established to work across FDC’s key national accounts, specialising mostly in refurbishment and fitout projects. “We are now drawing on the experience of FDC’s eastern state divisions and expanding our offering into new build and industrial projects,” said Mr Du Bois.

The Adelaide division has successfully completed major projects including the iconic Penfolds Magill Estate Café & Cellar Door, the recipient of multiple industry awards for its unique integration of heritage and modern elements. This is alongside projects for other notable organisations such as the ABC, Temple Christian College, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Colliers International, 1 King William St and Dr Jones & Partners Medical Imaging.

“South Australia is a true lifestyle state and is now a significant destination for tourists, as well as being a key location for defence contracts, research & development and tech start-ups,” said Mr Du Bois.

FDC Construction & Fitout (SA) continues to make an impact on the South Australian market working across a spread of fitout, refurbishment and new build projects for a wide range of industries.
