FDC is proud to announce we are again sponsoring the “FDC Scholarship for Women in Construction” at Western Sydney University. The scholarship supports an undergraduate female student within the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics with $7,500 per year for the duration of their degree. The FDC scholarship was announced yesterday at Western Sydney University’s Giving Day, which involved efforts to raise funds to support students through scholarships or donate to the University’s innovative research initiatives.
FDC’s sponsorship of this scholarship demonstrates our commitment to investing in our future leaders and driving diversity in an industry which holds low female participation. With 37% of our university graduates nationally being Western Sydney University alumni, we are proud to continue our ongoing relationship with Western Sydney University and our support of the professional growth of young members of our industry.
