Corner Forrester Road & Boronia Road, St Marys, NSW
Game. Set. Match. St Mary’s Rugby Leagues Club has been transformed to a sport-lover’s haven with the design and construction of a new frontage, foyer and sports bar.
The two-storey facility consists of a state-of-the-art American style sports bar, multipurpose function and events centre, two commercial kitchens, new reception, seating areas and amenities.
The focal point of the project – the American inspired sports bar – heroes 40 LED screens as well as two expansive feature 4k LED walls, combining this with nine different audio zones amplifies the sporting experience for all patrons.
Consisting of a range of high-end finishes, attention to detail was the name of the game when marrying existing areas of the club to new ones, while allowing for feature spaces to be drawcards for the venue.
The new main entrance, a more impactful street presence was able to be cast while seamlessly integrating existing internal walkways and blending floor and wall finishes.
A new Porte Cochere drop off area was also built, ensuring accessibility for all through this new facility.
The project was completed while the Club remained operational, requiring detailed upfront planning with management on hoarding establishments, noise and dust pollution and interim fire safety solutions.
Delivered during the challenging COVID-19 shutdowns and amidst standard operations of the Club, the FDC project team are proud to have completed this reinvigorated project with our client St Marys Rugby Leagues Club.
