Nest, 1 Denison

Spread over a luxurious 600sqm, Nest is a holistic wellness amenity, located in the high-rise of 1 Denison.

Exclusively for the use of the 1 Denison community, Nest is flooded with natural light and surrounded by breathtaking views of North Sydney, Manly Heads and the Blue Mountains.

Designed to provide a balanced workday for the modern professional, Nest by 1 Denison is home to wellness classes, physiotherapy, massage, nutritional talks and cooking lessons.

FDC were engaged by Winten Property Group and Touchstone Partners to complete the wellness amenity at 1 Denison.

“We collaborated closely with our architectural partner, Siren Design, to deliver this uplifting space. We have created a dedicated area for the building community to relax and unwind without needing to leave the building. We think the end result is both beautiful and functional,” FDC Project Manager Peter Colak said.

Health and wellbeing: WELL is the leading tool for advancing health and wellbeing in buildings globally. 1 Denison is registered to pursue WELL’s highest rating – enabled through the dedicated amenities and bespoke services designed for physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
Sustainability: 1 Denison was certified by the Green Building Council of Australia with a 5 Star Green Star rating in 2020.
Targeting 5 Star NABERS energy rating: Using a 6-star scale, the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) measures a building’s environmental efficiencies and impact. To achieve this ambitious rating, 1 Denison will enact strict protocols and monitoring of its energy and water consumption.

“Post the pandemic, there is more focus than ever around the importance of health and wellbeing and creating spaces that are inspiring. It’s great to have worked on a project that contributes in such a positive way to the health and wellbeing of the tenants of the 1 Denison community,” Peter Colak said.
