FDC (QLD) have completed construction of LOGOS Property’s Asahi Beverages Distribution Centre, 14 Seeana Place, Heathwood.
Asahi Beverages is a leading beverage company in Australia and New Zealand, with leading brands including Schweppes, Asahi, Peroni, Vodka Cruiser, Woodstock, Cool Ridge, Cottee’s Cordial and Spring Valley. Pepsi and Gatorade are manufactured and distributed under licence.
The project included the construction of an industrial and distribution warehouse facility. A low bay warehouse area with burnished slabs accommodates the conveyor system which supports an automated storage system in the 32m high bay section to provide capacity for 29,000 pallets. An operations office for Asahi Beverages employees was also constructed.
In addition to the distribution centre, a new substation, private estate road, retaining structure, carpark and 30m awning were delivered.
FDC successfully delivered this project in conjunction with McVeigh Consultants and Costin Roe Consulting.
