Last Friday, FDC offices hosted ‘Super Boss’ day with staff members arriving at work in costumes made famous by super heroes such as Superman, Batman and Captain America.

Super Boss Day is a fun new initiative where bosses or co-workers dress as a superhero for a day to raise funds for HeartKids to support children with heart disease and their families. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in Australia for babies under one. http://www.superbossday.org.au/

FDC’s employees listened as HeartKids’ CEO Dave Rose provided a brief history of the organisation and its goals. Natalie, mother to 13 month old Harrison also spoke to the team; sharing the story of how her son was diagnosed with heart disease and needed heart surgery immediately after his birth.

Staff members were invited to donate $5 for morning tea. Over $2,500 was raised for this very worthy cause.
