On Saturday 21 March, 15 staff from FDC competed in the Open Men’s Soccer as part of the NSW Corporate Games in support of Cancer Council NSW.

The NSW Corporate Games is now in its 11th year and encourages companies to support their employees’ pursuit of a healthier and more active lifestyle – an initiative that FDC supports and upholds.

With representation from both Fitout and Construction departments, our team hit the fields outside Marconi Stadium to take on some very tough competition.

In round 1, FDC faced Concept AV ending in a 1-1 draw. Round 2 reflected the overcast weather with a 0-2 loss to McDonalds (who finished 3rd place overall). Round 3 was when the sun started shining for FDC ending the competition with a 4-0 win over Boral.

Special mention to Russell Grady and Tom Vale who supported the team from the sideline throughout the day.

The Corporate Games has raised over $700,000 across the years benefiting 15 different charities including Cancer Council of NSW, Australian Diabetes Council, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Redkite and many more.
