Wotton + Kearney together with FDC Construction & Fitout (FDC) have joined forces to help raise awareness of Royal Far West and the great work it does with the children in rural NSW.

Royal Far West (RFW) provides comprehensive multi-disciplinary health services to thousands of country children with non-acute developmental, behavioural, learning and mental health disorders who cannot access these services from the areas where they live. Demand for these services is increasing, and RFW are committed to delivering services in response to this. Whilst Royal Far West does receive some government support, there is still considerable dependence on the generosity of individuals, corporations and community groups to continue their work. For more information please go to www.RoyalFarWest.org.au

Together, FDC and Wotton + Kearney are organising a three day, 470km bike ride starting in Dubbo and ending in Wagga Wagga. The ‘Riding for Country Kids’ event is not focused on professional cyclists but instead on amateurs willing to challenge themselves for a greater cause.

Funds raised will go towards refurbishment works at Drummond House: the Royal Far West accommodation facility in Manly, where children stay when coming from the country for treatment.
